During a period of being house bound I turned my attention to the bird life that occupies my garden space. In an attempt to move away from the standardised images of birds I began to focus on the glass of the window rather than the birds beyond it. Within this process the bird becomes a mysterious presence, sometimes recognisable, sometimes not.
